Grand Rapids AA Names Nix VP Corporate Development

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Aug. 18, 2005) -- Chuck Nix, general manager of Grand Rapids Auto Auction, has been promoted to the sale's vice president of corporate development.

According to Mark Capel, auction owner, Nix's promotion will help facilitate expansion plans the auction intends for the next two years.

"Now that our 18-month auction expansion project is complete, we are seeking two to three more locations in the Southeast and Southwest," Capel said. "Our goal is to achieve this in the next 24 months with hopes of having a presence in all regions of the United States in the next seven years. Chuck and I will work together in achieving this goal."
