Entergy Corp Explosion Photos

These pictures are taken approximately 10-12 miles from the explosion. In one, you can barely see the blinking light of a cell tower approx. 500 feet tall. The flames of the fire are at least 3 times the height of the tower, with a mushroom cloud of smoke another 1500 feet above the flames.

In one picture you can see the "devil" forming to the right of the main fire. This is a tornado-like protrusion caused by the force of the fire.

Beckville Band Concert

The annual Beckville Jr/Sr High School Band Concert was held Monday, May 9th at the High School auditorium. Lead by Mr. Roy Semar, who joined BISD in August 2004, our high school, junior high, and elementary bands were fantastic!

Railroad History

Do you remember seeing the depot in Beckville? Many of us will remember walking across the tracks going to and from the high school. The depot which has since been destroyed was located across from Adams Oil where the gazeebo now sits.
