Updates Needed in Address Book
We would really like to make the Address Book more useful to everyone so if you could please post your contact info. that would be great. Simply click on Add an Address and fill out the form with what contact info. you want to share.
What would be really helpful to those who live outside of the community is to have the local businesses and organization's information posted there. We are getting a lot of requests for contact info. for local churches, community center, city hall, etc. and it would be great if someone could take the time to post this information if they have it available. To do it is really easy and all you have to do is go here and fill out the quick form.
Upcoming Events at Miss Jane Lib. and Museum
The Miss Jane Library and Museum will be serving food at the Christmas Parade, Dec. 3 starting 4:00pm. They will be having their annual craft Christmas fund raiser on Dec. 5th starting 2:00pm, and Dec. 6th starting 9:00am until 6:00 pm.
If they can get the wiring done in time, they are hoping to have heat this year.
Congrats 8th grade football team - District Championship!

Senior Citizens center to hold luncheon
A pre-Thanksgiving fellowship covered dish luncheon will be held at noon, Nov. 25 at the Beckville Senior Citizen Center. Barbecue will be provided.
Beckville City Meeting
A regualr meeting of the governing body of the City of Beckville will be held at 7pm Nov. 13 at Beckville City Hall.
Beckville ISD Board Meeting
The board of trustees of Beckville ISD will meet at 7pm Nov. 13 in the BISD administration building.
Sweet Lucy and Trades Day Festival
The Beckville Sunset Alumni Association will be hosting a Sweet Lucy and Trades Day Festival on November 15, 2003 at the old elementary school in Beckville. Booths available for $25.00. Scheduled events will include at Health Fair from 8-10 am, Small Business Seminar presented by the State Comptrollers Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife will have exhibits of the Buffalo Soldiers, Popular Singers Terry Beall and Group, Daughters of Guadelupe Dancers, East Texas Truckers Association. Volunteer Tutors & Supplies Needed
The Beckville Sunset Alumni Association is holding tutorials at the old elementary school each Tuesday evening from 4-6 pm. We need volunteers to help tutor students. Local incinerator destroys weapons, illegal drugs

A local couple recently became concerned about the safety of keeping firearms in their home when the learned they had a child on the way. After searching for ways to rid themselves of the guns, they found an interesting alternative to simply giving them away.
