Christmas Parade Floats Along

Beckville residents turned out in full force Wednesday despite a chilling wind and threats of rain.

Last night's parade drew quite a crowd in downtown Beckville last night. Children and adults alike enjoyed the 29 entries in this year's festivities. Local church groups, school entries and countless 4-wheeler entries delighted the crowd despite the threat of rain. Only a light rain fell and the rain drenching Carthage did not arrive to mar the event.

Lights and bells started the event as the train passed through. BISD Superintendent, Devin Tate announced each participant as they passed by the KGAS bandstand.
